Flagstone Creek Shaker Beauty

We had the pleasure of designing and installing the cabinetry for this recently completed home by the incredible team at Lavish Constructions. Situated on a gorgeous property just outside of Toowoomba, with views from every room in the house, this home is filled with beautiful features to create a dream home for this family.

Simple clean lines and recessed panels were the starting point to creating a modern Shaker style kitchen. The large island bench and beautifully crafted manel then became the features to this lovely space. Provincial handles and knobs in a brushed nickel finish and a large ceramic butler’s sink completed the Shaker style perfectly. A fully integrated dishwasher allowed for the seamless finish to flow through the entire kitchen and pantry. The owner selected Dulux reckless grey for the island to create interest, which tied in perfectly with the grey subway tiled splash. The remaining cabinetry was painted in the classic Dulux Lexicon half which paired perfectly with the Smartstone Arcadia benchtops. A functional layout, copious storage and quality Blum hardware will ensure this kitchen stands the test of time. Shaker style cabinetry is certainly a hot trend at the moment, and while other style trends come and go the Shaker style has remained popular since the 70’s.

The beautiful Shaker style was followed through to the ensuite with a 2PAC paneled vanity unit with matching mirrored shaving cabinets. Dulux Lexicon half and a Smartsone Arcadia benchtop were selected and worked in perfectly with the feature floor tiles. The main bathroom and powder vanities were constructed with Polytec Prime Oak with Smartstone Arcadia benchtops. The laundry/mudroom consists of Flexipanel Designer White cabinetry with Polytec Prime Oak benchtops. This space was designed to incorporate the owners reclaimed double laundry trough. Ample storage and drying racks ensured this space is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional.

Last but not least we created a lovely window seat and bookshelf in the sewing rooms which will be a prime position to enjoy a morning coffee while soaking up some glorious sunshine.

Raked ceilings to the main living space and an elegant coffered ceiling in the large study are just a couple of the extra beautiful features completed by Lavish Constructions. This home has been finished to the highest possible standard and the owners couldn’t be more thrilled with their new home

Case Study: Heasley Dental

From outdated, bleak and tired to modern, light and aesthetically stunning. This Toowoomba dental surgery was still featuring décor from over 30 years ago before undergoing a major renovation. With creams and browns, red vinyl seats and sunflower curtains straight out of the 70s the interior style of this dental practice was in desperate need of a revamp to reflect its modern, up-to-date brand.
